Back from maneuvers, the twin roamers enjoy a brief flat-cat respite together before high temperatures return to Kansas City.

There is nothing I can do about it but complain that 106 ºF is what one expects from Las Vegas or the California valley, for example, but not of the Midwest.

This is a fantastic photo. It truly captures the feeling we all have from the heat; the fatigue, the inexplicable desire to lie down, even if it is on a dusty porch and the overwhelming sensation of breathing in what feels like lard vapor. is there no escape?

oh my goodness trancy! 106!! poor you! seriously that's awful - you're right, that kind of suffering is not in your province there.

as usual your cat shots are so striking - I guess I am biased but still.
