Temptation

This is bad, very bad. Badder than Friday the 13th or snow in mid-April: impulse shopping for snacks.

Not just any snacks, of course, but the ones that made me gain 15 pounds 10 years ago.

However, since many of these come with trinkets and such, I don't know how much longer I can resist.

Pocky is my downfall!

thanks for the info tracy. we never really had any interaction with the landlord or tenants but i am glad it got taken care of. funny thing, since that dumpster has been out it seems everyone else in the neigborhood has taken full advantage of it, including us. it is near overflow. maybe the city should set one up in every neighborhood. are you going to Harry's Country Club on the 17th for blogger meet and greet? nightmare (smells like bullshit) and i will likely attend. well hell michelle set it up and it should be fun. hope to see you there.

p.s. little debbies are the perfect snack; cheap as hell and you get 12+ in every pack.

Woe..... stick to the food items... I don't think you're old enough to view most of that sight.

pocky is the greatest!!!! btw thank you for your comments - sorry I've been so non-bloggy - I've decided I'm a bipolar blogger - I either obsess about it and do nothing else for literally hours/days or I leave it and consequently get to sleep, do homework in a timely manner, read fun books, play with the kits, etc.... I posted tonight tho - maybe I'll just aim for my token mitraillette-y list-type entries about once a week or so kindof like that NPR recap on Sunday mornings... I'm feeling much better -- I think you're right about the pollen - when I get colds here it's like strep or something - I get it in my throat and am fever-y and it takes ages to go away -- good thing it's only once a year or so (je touche du bois) -- anyway summer is soon so if not earlier I'll be more bloggy at that point most likely :) happy weekend - I hope you guys didn't have the scary weather we're to get tomorrow - kiotsuketene...

ps jlist rocks too :) I've had it bookmarked for a while - I should have thought to send it to you - it makes me laugh so hard, plus being so nostalgia-y in general, plus occasionally (or maybe more than occasionally) it gives me that also nostalgic feeling of when we were there and nihonners would laugh at spit bubbles or something and I'd just shake my head in utter dumbfoundedness with a tinge of gross-out.

hey - up late grading since I was a lazyass all day :( :( :( -- no, re: VT, I didn't know any of them altho they did lose some for. lang. people - not that that is worse than the others, etc., just that someone in our dept. read that besides a German prof, there were two French nationals, one French prof and one engineering prof. Anyway just so so tragic.

I was just rereading your uro-comments :) you crack me up - you're right that that stuff shows up earlier than we were led to believe - also they show up regardless of whether one gave birth or not, which was why I was pretty much planning on having way less plumbing troubles as I got older but I guess you're still SOL either way...

re icebergoogle - I hadn't even thought of that - it _was_ in April - kinda morbid of them if that's the connection!
